Robarts Research Institute's Leaders in Innovation Dinner 2013

Dr. Michael J. Strong, Dean, Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry invites you to attend London's premier research event, the Leaders in Innovation Dinner. This year’s special guest is award-winning actor, social activist and humanitarian, Martin Sheen, who has been entertaining audiences with stirring performances on stage and screen for nearly 50 years. With a passion for activism, he has been an ardent supporter of causes that advocate peace, improve health care, and encourage justice throughout the world. Sheen is also a heart attack survivor, and this year the Leaders in Innovation dinner shines the spotlight on cardiovascular research being conducted at Robarts Research Institute. Also featured is the presentation of the 2013 J. Allyn Taylor International Prize in Medicine awarded by Robarts Research Institute to Dr. Salim Yusuf. Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be Heather Hiscox, MA'87, LLD'11, Anchor, CBC News Network. Tickets are available for $250 per person or a table of eight for $2,000 (includes HST). Please purchase tickets online by November 11, 2013. The reception starts at 5:00 p.m., with the formal program and dinner beginning at 6:00 p.m. Business attire.
